Hi! I am  Larissa Negron,  a board certified pediatrician with 20 years of experience in pediatric care. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so I speak  both English and Spanish, love the sunny weather, the beach, and  latin dance.

After completing medical school at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, I  moved to Miami, FL,  and completed my  pediatric residency at Miami Children's Hospital.  There, I met my husband, and after living in several places throughout the years to pursue his medical training , we decided to put down roots in North Carolina.  Here, we are enjoying raising our three children and exploring everything that the beautiful Triangle has to offer.

I bring a rich and diverse background in pediatric care. Having worked as a hospitalist at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock,  I really enjoyed caring for newborns in the newborn nursery setting, supporting families through those precious first days of life with attentive care and helping mothers with breastfeeding.   In addition,  I  dedicated 10 years to caring for children and families as a primary care pediatrician in Orlando, Fl, building lasting relationships and providing thoughtful, family centered care throughout every stage of childhood.

Most recently, my nterests have centered on prevention of illness and whole-child wellness.  I completed a certification training in nutrition strategies through Duke University School of Medicine, and continue to pursue advanced training in children's mental health and ADHD , with a focus on helping kids thrive physically, emotionally, and developmentally.

I founded Soaring Pediatrics because I truly believe that excellent pediatric care  requires  a strong relationship between physician and family, and this can be achieved through personal connections, time, and accessibility.  Focusing on education, early intervention, and prevention of illness, I strive to help my patients soar to their full potential.  At Soaring Pediatrics, you are never just a number.  I am here to coach and counsel your family through every developmental stage with a personal touch that only a  direct-care practice can provide.
